I’m Amy, a flower-grower and
pie-baker from Louisville, Colorado
Life has a way of pulling us away from what really matters—like fresh air, blooming flowers, and a warm pie cooling on the counter. For years, I was deep in the weeds (literally and figuratively), chasing the never-ending to-do list and wiping sticky hands (mine and the kids’). But somewhere between the chaos and the crust, I found my way back.

Back to the garden.
Back to the bees.
Back to pie.
That’s how Pies in Bloom began. With a return to what matters. The flowers I grow are wild and a little unruly. The pies I bake are rustic, rich with flavor, and just imperfect enough to feel like home. Both are rooted in the belief that beauty isn’t about polish—it’s about presence. It’s about slowing down, savoring the messy moments, and feeding something bigger than ourselves.
My pies are made with the same spirit—messy, crumb-covered, and full of heart. Each one is handcrafted with real ingredients, bold flavors, and the kind of flaky attitude that reminds us to slow down and savor something sweet. For me, baking is a way to practice kindness—toward ourselves, our community, and the earth that gives us so much. Every pie is a love letter to imperfection, a slice of joy meant to be shared.
Bee Kind. Eat Pie.
